You can delete your BillBetter.AI account yourself, from inside the product — no email or support request needed. It works the same on the web and in the mobile app.
A couple of situations block deletion until they're resolved, so nobody's money or teammates are stranded: a company you own that still has other active teammates (remove them or hand the company over first), or a payment that's still in flight (wait for it to settle). The screen names exactly what's in the way.
Deleted immediately: your sign-in credentials and sessions, saved payment methods and bank-feed links (disconnected at Stripe), linked email addresses and phone number, notification devices, connected apps (QuickBooks, Slack, and similar), your folders, and your pay handle. Your email address is freed and no longer signs in.
Kept: bills, invoices, and payment records are two-sided business records — the vendors and customers on the other side of your transactions keep their copies, labeled with your name and "(account closed)", the same way they would keep a paper invoice from a business that closed. This is also a legal bookkeeping requirement for them. These records no longer belong to any active account.
Reopening: if you sign up again later with the same email address, your account is restored and your records reattach — see the Retention section of our Privacy Policy.
Anything unclear, or a situation the screens don't cover: billbetter.ai/support.
