BillBetter.AI (billbetter.ai) is a bill and invoice platform for small businesses, operated by Better AI LLC. This page describes the text messages the platform sends, how a phone number ends up receiving one, and how to stop them.
All messages are transactional. A BillBetter.AI user can enter the mobile number of a business counterparty — a vendor they owe, a customer they invoiced, or a teammate they're adding — instead of an email address. The platform then sends that person a single message about that specific transaction: the bill, the invoice's secure payment link, or the team invitation. We do not send marketing, promotions, or recurring campaigns by text.
The recipient's number is entered by the sender — a business the recipient works with — who obtained it directly from the recipient in the course of their business relationship. The exact point of entry is a labeled form field in the BillBetter.AI product ("email or mobile number"), with a disclosure beside it stating that texting is optional, that entering an email address instead sends no text, that entering a mobile number sends the recipient a text with the transaction's link, that message and data rates may apply, and that replying STOP opts out and HELP gets help. Every message identifies the sender by name and states the amount, so the recipient always knows who it concerns and why they received it.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of using BillBetter.AI — for the sender or the recipient. Every feature of the platform works entirely by email: bills, invoices, payment links, and invitations are all delivered by email whenever an email address is provided, and a text is sent only when a mobile number is entered in place of an email address. A recipient who prefers not to receive texts can ask their counterparty to use their email address instead, and replying STOP stops all messages to their number immediately without affecting any bill, payment, or account.
Message frequency varies. At most one invitation message per recipient per day, enforced by the platform. In practice a recipient receives a message only when a counterparty bills, pays, or invites them — typically one or two messages total.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out — no further texts will be sent to your number. Reply HELP for help, or contact customer care at support@billbetter.ai. Message and data rates may apply. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Phone numbers are used only to deliver the messages described above and to connect a number to its owner's account when they join. They are never sold or shared with advertisers. Our Privacy Policy covers everything else.
